Artistic Values

Body and Form

The representation of the human body is significant to what I try to represent in my art. Having the belief that our different sizes and shapes are what make us beautiful, my goal as a designer is to sculpt the human body to highlight its unique nature. I am fascinated by the way our bodies convey emotions, movements, and expressions. Every piece I create is an exploration into the vast landscape of human variability, a homage to our inherent diversity. Through various mediums and techniques, I aim to showcase the beauty in asymmetry, the elegance in every imperfection, and the strength in every unique form. Through my work, I strive to honor this magnificent complexity and encourage others to see beyond the surface.

Experimental Nature

To leave a lasting impression on an audience, one must leave the theater reflecting on a production they have just seen. The experience should be thought-provoking, encouraging them to revisit scenes in their minds and discuss them with others long after the final curtain has fallen. To achieve this level of engagement, I firmly believe that creating something out of the ordinary is necessary. Breaking away from these norms and venturing into the realm of the unconventional can generate a more impactful audience experience. The unpredictability and novelty of such approaches can jolt the audience out of passive viewing and thrust them into an active, emotionally engaging journey. While I do value contemporary methods and recognize their significance, I am convinced that one must embrace experimental approaches to truly captivate and resonate with the audience. Contemporary methods provide a solid foundation, but they should not be the ceiling of our creative ambitions.
